Welcome to the Lamps & Lighting department at Lighting Workshop. You have come to the right place for information on different types of lamp and how they work. Its going to take a while to get all the information I intend to post here compiled and illustrated. If you find the information you require is missing, please check back in a month or so as I may be working on that section.
